Hey my American friends,

I know we haven’t always seen eye to eye over the past years. A lot has divided us — politically, economically, even emotionally. But what’s happening now goes far beyond disagreements. It’s about trust, partnerships, and the very stability that has kept our nations strong together.

I work with companies all over the world — including many outstanding ones from the U.S. They don’t play politics; they innovate, employ people, and drive progress. But the new round of tariffs and unpredictable trade moves coming from Trump’s circle hurt everyone — not just Europeans, but American workers and businesses too.

Markets need reliability, not chaos. Global partnerships need fairness, not ego deals. When one man turns the rules of trade into personal bargaining chips, everyone loses — except those few who profit from instability.

Dear Americans, you built platforms like this one to connect people and ideas across borders. Let’s not let a small group tear down what decades of cooperation have built. The transatlantic bridge still stands — but only if we keep walking across it together.

Let’s fix it, not let it fall.

Yours, Friedrich
